Prof. Dr. Ali Ümit Keskin graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Electrical Engineering in 1978. In 1980, he completed his master's degree at Yıldız Technical University and in 1984 he completed his Ph.D. at Istanbul Technical University Institute of Science and Technology. In 1985, he started working at Siemens Medical Technology. He worked in the field of Medical Instrumentation throughout his professional career. In 2009, he became an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering and in 2014 he became a Professor in the same field. Since 2002, Prof. Dr. Ali Ümit Keskin has been working at Yeditepe University Faculty of Engineering and is the founding faculty member of the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He is currently the Deputy Administrative Coordinator of Yeditepe University Hospitals.
