BBL (Broadband Light) laser is a type of laser technology used for skin rejuvenation. This technology can be seen in different parts of the body such as face, neck and hands; It is used to improve different problems such as capillaries, fine lines, acne and sunspots.
It is possible to list BBL usage purposes as follows:
• General Pigmented lesions
• Freckle treatment
• Rosacea
• Active acne and acne scars
• Sunspots (Lentigo)
• Melasma
• Telangiectasia
• Poikiloderma
• Erythema
• Skin toning
• For anti-aging purposes (Skin Rejuvenation)
BBL is performed in an average of 3 sessions, session intervals are 3 weeks. Each session takes approximately 30-40 minutes. The procedure is generally painless, but may be felt as a slight ache and increased temperature. After the procedure, the person may experience a slight redness, which will disappear on its own within a few hours.
The most important issue after the procedure is to protect the patient from the sun. Sunscreen should be renewed every 2-3 hours. It is normal for the spots to darken in the first week, but then the skin peels off in the form of a crust and the color of the spot lightens.
BBL procedure can be performed on any patient aged 18 and over with the above-mentioned complaints. The effect of the application lasts for an average of 1 year and it is recommended to repeat it every year.
