Intensive care services are carried out with the personnel of specialist physicians and nurses and include a very high level of medical and technical equipment. The most important of these are respirators, heart, blood circulation, and respiratory monitors, infusion, heart feeding pumps, bed systems that do not cause back sores in patients who are hospitalized for a long time, which can be positioned automatically, material equipment with fireproof and antimicrobial properties, individual heating and cooling devices, laboratory measuring devices that can be used per patient to closely monitor patient metabolism, at all times.
In intensive care units, patients with sepsis and chemotherapy with an impaired immune system are treated in isolation rooms that allow pressure, heat, and moisture changes. In addition to automatically changing the patient's position, the patient beds in these rooms can also perform percussion massage at regular intervals.
There is a digital electronic weighing system that is placed on the bed feet and can continuously measure the weight of the patient in patients where close monitoring of weight gain is required. When necessary, patients can be mobilized with a manually controlled patient lift in a flat or sitting position.
In the pain clinic, both pain due to various diseases and postoperative pain are treated in cooperation with other medical branches such as Neurology, Psychiatry, Oncology, Orthopedics and Traumatology, Physical Therapy, and Rehabilitation.
