The Ethical Principles of Yeditepe University Hospitals 

Yeditepe University Hospitals adopts adherence to ethical principles as a fundamental corporate value in the provision of health services. All clinical and administrative processes are carried out in line with the principles of respect for patient rights, professional integrity, transparency, impartiality and accountability. Our ethical framework provide a reliable, fair and respectful service for patients, their relatives, healthcare professionals and all stakeholders environment.
In this context, the following ethical principles are implemented in a systematic structure and are consistent throughout the organization, in a traceable and sustainable manner:

All leaders and employees should be aware of all situations that may create a conflict between their duties and personal interests. clearly declares. Such situations are not allowed to affect patient care.
Medical and supportive services are provided to the patient in a clear, understandable and honest manner. The patient or his/her legal representative is informed about treatment options, risks and possible outcomes. Intervention is not initiated without informed consent. Patient information is used only by authorized persons for the benefit of the patient. Physical privacy is protected and electronic systems are managed securely. All hospitalization, internal and external transfer and discharge procedures are carried out within the framework of clear rules. Patients and their relatives are informed verbally and in writing; training and guidance are provided. Patient safety is prioritized in all processes.

Financial transactions are authorized by the Rectorate of Yeditepe University in accordance with legal regulations is carried out. Accessible, individualized and rights-based services are provided for defined groups such as children, elderly, disabled, chronically ill and socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals. Special Clinic Policies are implemented to reduce inequalities.
