Joint Commission International (JCI) is a non-profit, independent, and international accreditation organization that aims to improve quality and patient safety in healthcare services.
Yeditepe University Hospital and its affiliated institutions became the first Turkish university hospital group to be awarded the JCI (Joint Commission International) Accreditation Certificate by successfully passing all standards in the initial inspection.
The laboratories of Yeditepe University Hospitals provide laboratory services based on nationally and internationally recognized standards and test methods, meeting the needs of healthcare institutions and professionals while adhering to the principles of accuracy, impartiality, independence, integrity, confidentiality, and reliability.
Our laboratories, which operate within the framework of scientific ethics, also consider contributing to the advancement of medical science through education and research activities as one of their core values.
Yeditepe University Hospitals adopt the protection of information confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility as a fundamental principle. In line with this, our institution has been accredited within the scope of the TS ISO / IEC 27001 Information Security Management System standard since July 1, 2016.
Yeditepe University Hospitals have been re-accredited within the scope of the revised TS ISO / IEC 27001:2022 standards.
Yeditepe University Hospitals view breastfeeding as an integral part of healthcare services; they aim to ensure that every mother is informed about this issue from birth and supported during the breastfeeding process.
As a result of the work carried out with this understanding, Yeditepe University Hospitals were awarded the "Baby-Friendly Hospital" title by the Ministry of Health in 2009.
