Joint Commission International (JCI) is a non-profit, independent, and international accreditation organization that aims to improve quality and patient safety in healthcare services.

Yeditepe University Hospital and its affiliated institutions became the first Turkish university hospital group to be awarded the JCI (Joint Commission International) Accreditation Certificate by successfully passing all standards in the initial inspection.

The laboratories of Yeditepe University Hospitals provide laboratory services based on nationally and internationally recognized standards and test methods, meeting the needs of healthcare institutions and professionals while adhering to the principles of accuracy, impartiality, independence, integrity, confidentiality, and reliability.

Our laboratories, which operate within the framework of scientific ethics, also consider contributing to the advancement of medical science through education and research activities as one of their core values.

At Yeditepe University Hospitals, protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information is a fundamental principle of our institution.

In line with this commitment, Yeditepe University Hospitals has been accredited under the TS ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System standard since July 1, 2016.

As part of our ongoing commitment to information security, Yeditepe University Hospitals has been re-accredited in accordance with the revised TS ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard.

The Health Accreditation Standards (SAS) program carried out by the Turkish Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) is a comprehensive accreditation system that aims to improve quality and patient safety in healthcare services, establish a sustainable culture of quality, and ensure the continuous improvement of healthcare services in line with national quality standards.

Yeditepe University Specialized Practice and Research Center, as a result of comprehensive efforts carried out in line with its goal of continuously improving quality and patient safety in healthcare services, has successfully completed the TÜSKA Health Accreditation Standards (SAS) evaluation and has become entitled to receive the Gold Category Accreditation Certificate.

Yeditepe University Hospitals view breastfeeding as an integral part of healthcare services; they aim to ensure that every mother is informed about this issue from birth and supported during the breastfeeding process.
As a result of the work carried out with this understanding, Yeditepe University Hospitals were awarded the "Baby-Friendly Hospital" title by the Ministry of Health in 2009.

In 2020, Yeditepe University Hospitals obtained the International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate issued by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health, formally demonstrating its competence and commitment to high-quality standards in international patient services. The certificate confirms that the institution meets the necessary criteria to operate in the field of international health tourism and to provide safe, ethical, and high-quality healthcare services to international patients.
