Yeditepe University Koşuyolu Hospital Receives 'Gold Accreditation' from TÜSKA

Yeditepe University Koşuyolu Specialized Hospital announced that it has become the university hospital in Istanbul to be entitled to receive the SAS 'Gold Accreditation Certificate.' The 'Gold Accreditation Certificate' awarded under the TÜSKA Health Accreditation System (SAS) carries the quality of national registration of healthcare practices.
Yeditepe University Koşuyolu Specialized Hospital reported that within the scope of its efforts to raise quality standards in healthcare services, it completed the Health Accreditation System (SAS) evaluations carried out by the Turkish Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA) and became entitled to receive the 'Gold Accreditation Certificate.'

Certificate Presented at Ceremony

The Gold Accreditation Certificate of Yeditepe University Koşuyolu Hospital, which became the university hospital in Istanbul entitled to receive the SAS Gold Accreditation Certificate, was presented at a ceremony. At the ceremony, TÜSKA President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bayram DEMİR presented the certificate to Yeditepe University Hospitals Board of Directors Chairman Prof. Dr. Altay Burak DALAN. The ceremony, attended by Provincial Health Directorate Deputy Director Op. Dr. Zülfü KILIÇ, TÜSKA Coordinator Prof. Dr. Umut BEYLİK, Yeditepe University Hospitals Administrative Coordinator Dr. Özay ÜNAL, and Yeditepe University Hospitals Medical Coordinator Prof. Dr. Canan Aykut BİNGÖL, took place with intense participation.

Stating that the accreditation process contributed significantly to the continuous improvement of the hospital's quality standards, Yeditepe University Hospitals Board of Directors Chairman Prof. Dr. Altay Burak DALAN said, "We are greatly pleased and proud to receive the TÜSKA SAS Gold Accreditation Certificate, which is an important indicator of the value we place on quality and patient safety in healthcare services. We do not see this certificate merely as a certificate of achievement. At the same time, we regard it as an indicator of our determination to continuously improve quality. Patient and employee safety is always our priority."
