Career Summary:

I completed my high school education in 1987. The same year, I was accepted to Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine and graduated in 1993. I completed my specialization in the Department of Pediatrics at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine between 1993-1998. I worked as a Pediatrics Specialist and Deputy Chief Physician at Adana State Hospital in Pediatrics from January 1999 to October 1999, and at Gynecology-Obstetrics and Child Care Hospital in Tatvan/Bitlis from October 1999 to May 2000. In June 2000, I started my minor training in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine. I completed my training in 2004 and became a Pediatric Hematology Specialist. Later, I started working in the Department of Pediatric Oncology. I was appointed as an Assistant Professor in 2004. In 2010, I passed the Associate Professorship exam and received the title of Associate Professor, and in 2015, I became a Professor. From December 2011 to July 2012, I served as Deputy Chief Physician at Çukurova University Balcalı Hospital. In 2014, I served as Head of the Department of Pediatric Oncology and Physician in Charge of the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit until May 2024. Since June 2000, I have been involved in the follow-up and treatment of patients in the Pediatric Hematology, Pediatric Oncology, and Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit. I retired from my position at Çukurova University in May 2024. In June 2024, I worked for one year at a private hospital in Gaziantep, where I contributed to the opening of the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation Clinic. As of August 2025, I started working at Yeditepe University Koşuyolu Specialized Hospital. Here, I continue to provide patient services in Pediatrics and Diseases, Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation.
