Prof. Dr. Faruk Yencilek received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Marmara University in 1996. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology. In 2008, he worked at Heidelberg University Urology Clinic in Germany. In 2011, he was entitled to become an associate professor of Urology. In 2012, he won the European Board exam and received the title of FEBU. Since 2005, Prof. Dr. Faruk Yencilek has been working at Yeditepe University Hospitals and has been the Chief Physician of Yeditepe University Koşuyolu Hospital since December 2019. He is a member of the Turkish Urology Association, European Urology Association, Turkish Endourology Association, Urooncology Association, and Urological Laparoscopy Surgery Association.
