Project Objective:

Within the scope of İstanbul Zero Waste Week, the event aimed to strengthen environmental awareness on-site by combining coastal cleanup and community-based science communication.

Project Subject:

The project includes coastal cleanup, waste collection, and segregation activities at Bostancı Beach. Additionally, the relationship between waste management and the marine ecosystem is discussed during the Bilim Cafe (Science Cafe) talk.

The event took place on June 2, 2026, between 09:00 – 11:00 AM at Bostancı Beach.
