Prof. Rukset Attar, MD, was born in Tarsus, Türkiye, in 1968. She graduated from the Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1992. In 1997, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Zeynep Kamil Women and Children's Diseases Training and Research Hospital.

In 2004, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor at the Department of Molecular Medicine (DETAE), Istanbul University, and in 2017, she was promoted to Professor at Yeditepe University.

Prof. Attar also served as a Research Fellow in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology at Yale University School of Medicine in the United States. In addition, she worked as both a resident physician and a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Zeynep Kamil Hospital.

She currently practices at Yeditepe University Hospitals, where she provides care in the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), and Pelvic Pain & Endometriosis. She also serves as the Deputy Chief Physician of Yeditepe University Koşuyolu Hospital.
