Associate Professor Taha Yusuf Kuzan, M.D.

Career Summary:

Assoc. Prof. Taha Yusuf Kuzan, MD, completed his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2013 and his residency training at the Marmara University Department of Radiology in 2018. He earned the title of Associate Professor in 2022 and joined the academic faculty of the University of Health Sciences as an Associate Professor in 2025. As of September 2026, he has started working at Yeditepe University Kozyatağı Hospital.

Throughout his post-residency career, he received subspecialty training in interventional radiology at esteemed national and international centers. He served as a fellow in angiography and interventional radiology at Dr. Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital in 2018, and at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital in 2020. Furthermore, after being awarded the European Society of Radiology (ESR) grant in 2019, he worked as a fellow at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan, Italy.

Working at Istanbul Sancaktepe Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital between 2018 and 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Taha Yusuf Kuzan initiated interventional radiological procedures within the hospital, becoming the founder of the Interventional Radiology Unit and performing numerous successful procedures. He also held a managerial role as the Clinical Administrative Lead at the same institution between 2022 and 2026. Additionally, he has authored over 40 scientific articles published in national and international literature.
