• Dr. İlke Bahçeci Şimşek was born in 1977 in Izmir, is married and has two children. She completed her Faculty of Medicine at Izmir Dokuz Eylül University and her Ophthalmology Residency at Istanbul Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital. In addition to General Eye Diseases, she specializes in Oculoplastic Surgery and Pediatric Eye Diseases, strabismus.
• She has studies and publications in the field of oculoplastic surgery in Turkey and abroad. She is currently working as an Associate Professor at Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology.
