Diagnosis and treatment services are provided in Yeditepe University Hospital’s Pediatric Health and Diseases Department in the polyclinic, inpatient service, and intensive care areas specially designed and equipped with high technology for children aged 0-18 years.
Yeditepe University Kozyatağı Hospital has been awarded the title of "Baby Friendly Hospital" by completing the studies envisaged within the scope of the "Baby Friendly "project carried out jointly by UNICEF and the World Health Organization. This program is aimed to encourage breast milk, to raise awareness of mothers about breastfeeding, to gain correct breastfeeding habits, and to make breastfeeding successful and permanent.
In our Baby Friendly Hospital, training is provided by healthcare professionals who have received the necessary special training in breast milk and breastfeeding.
Yeditepe University Hospitals Child Health and Diseases department; There are two separate departments: Newborn  (0-28 days) and Child (0-18 years).

 The neonatal (0-28 days) section serves in three separate units.

Within the scope of the Department of Pediatrics; Pediatric Allergy, Pediatric Endocrinology, Pediatric Hematology, Pediatric Oncology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Nephrology,  and Neonatal specialties.    
Departments continue to work with a multidisciplinary approach.

Pediatric Allergy 

Diagnosis and treatment of all allergic diseases of children between the ages of 0-18 are made with the most up-to-date technology. In the department; allergy skin tests, allergy tests in the blood, respiratory function tests, allergen provocation tests, nutritional tests, and anesthetic drug tests are performed.
Diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as asthma, allergic bronchitis, allergic catarrh (hay fever), atopic dermatitis (eczema), urticaria (hives), food allergy, drug allergy (anesthetic substance allergy), chronic cough, wheezing-rattling baby, frequent respiratory tract infections, allergic skin rashes, and allergy vaccination are applied.

Pediatric Endocrinology Department

Diseases caused by hormonal and metabolic problems are examined. Diagnosis and treatment services are provided for problems such as growth retardation, short stature, Type 1 diabetes Mellitus (diabetes), hypoglycemia, early-delayed puberty, thyroid gland diseases (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism), pituitary gland diseases, menstrual irregularities, excessive hair growth, sexual development disorders, adrenal gland diseases, and obesity.

Pediatric Hematology - Oncology Department

Diagnosis and treatment of blood diseases and childhood cancers that can be seen at any age from the newborn period to adolescence are applied.
Outpatient and inpatient treatments are performed in Yeditepe University Hospital’s Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation Clinic. In the clinic, leukemia, blood production disorders, thalassemia (Mediterranean anemia), sickle cell disease, bone marrow failure, genetic diseases, immune system diseases, and tumors are treated.

Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition Department

Diagnosis and treatment of esophageal, stomach, duodenal, small, and large intestines, liver, gallbladder diseases, and all kinds of nutritional diseases that can be seen in the 0-18 age group are performed.

Pediatric Surgery Department

Urological, genital, digestive, and respiratory diseases and neonatal anomalies that are known before or after birth in the child are treated. Non-cardiac thoracic surgery, oncological surgery, digestive system surgery, pediatric endocrine surgery, pediatric gynecology, diagnostic and interventional endoscopic applications, laparoscopic and thoracoscopic surgical interventions, and trauma surgery are performed. 

Pediatric Nephrology Department

All kinds of problems that may occur in the kidneys, urinary tract, bladder, and urethra, which are defined as the urinary system, are treated in the Pediatric Nephrology Polyclinic between the ages of 0-18, which is defined as childhood. The correct diagnosis and treatment of the problem at every level, whether congenital or acquired, that occurs in this system is very important. 

Pediatric Rheumatology Department

Diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases in childhood are carried out in pediatric rheumatology outpatient clinics.
The scope of pediatric rheumatic diseases, which include multisystem diseases characterized by acute and chronic inflammation of the musculoskeletal (joints and muscles), vessels, and skin, is also quite wide. For this reason, it is one of the 5 most common reasons for applying to pediatric outpatient clinics.
