Head size is small compared to body size. The auricles have settled into their final position. During these weeks, the baby is busy moving its arms and legs.  
The airways are also developing; the air-carrying tubes in your baby's lungs branch out and form smaller tubes. By the end of the second trimester, these tubes form air sacs called alveoli, which are essential for breathing. Your baby's digestive system is also starting to work.
