The coronavirus usually appears after an incubation period of 2-14 days, with a high fever of up to 39°C, cough, and shortness of breath/respiratory distress.
Symptoms such as sore throat, headache, runny nose, diarrhea, fatigue, weakness, muscle-joint pain, conjunctivitis, loss of sense of taste or smell, skin rash, or discoloration of the fingers and toes can also be seen.
Serious symptoms include respiratory distress or shortness of breath, chest pain or pressure in the chest, and loss of speech or movement.
In healthy people, the disease can be mild. The condition may progress more severely and lead to loss of life in the elderly (>65 years old), those with underlying diseases (lung diseases, diabetes, organ failures), and those who are immunocompromised.
