One in every two people cannot breathe comfortably through his nose due to problems such as curvature of the nasal bone, the size of the nasal flesh, or sinusitis. Those who fear tampons are avoiding the surgery required for treatment. Saying that nose surgeries can be performed without tampons in case of both health problems and aesthetic needs, Yeditepe University Hospitals Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Specialist said, "The replacement of the tampon used in nose surgeries by the suture technique provides comfort to patients. This method, which can be easily applied to people of all ages through outpatient surgery, is especially significant for the elderly."

Stating that the tampon is used after nose surgeries both to facilitate the repairing of tissues and to prevent bleeding, our specialist listed the contributions of the operations performed through methods that do not require using tampons to the patient's quality of life as follows:

They can return home about 5-6 hours after the procedure.
They can breathe easily through their nose from the moment they come out of the operation.
Since they can breathe through their nose, no irritation occurs in their throat.
No problems occur with their ears swallowing.
They can eat easily.
They do not experience any bruising or swelling in their face, nor do they experience any irritation or pain in their eyes.
They can sleep much more comfortably at night.
The next day after the surgery they can start their daily life.
